AWS went down. And suddenly everyone became a cloud architect.

“Why wasn’t your app deployed across multiple regions!?” Because, Karen, that would triple your cost. 😅

Let’s be real: – Most SaaS apps run in one region. – Multi-region setups are insanely expensive. – And AWS outages this bad happen maybe once every few years.

If your €9.99/month subscription doesn’t include “global disaster resilience,” that’s… kinda fair.

You’re paying for “high availability,” not “nuclear-proof redundancy.”

Honestly, I’ll take a few hours of downtime over paying 3x for uptime no one will even notice 99.999% of the time.

Would you pay extra for multi-region peace of mind? Or accept the occasional chaos as the cost of doing business?
