Netflix has been slowly cranking up prices in the Netherlands. So I finally looked into it and wow 🤯
As of May 2025: - 🇳🇱 Netflix Premium: €19.99/month (≈ RM101.50) - 🇲🇾 Netflix Premium: RM62.90/month (≈ €13.09) - That's RM38.60 cheaper, or 38% less! 💸
Here’s what I did: - Canceled my Dutch Netflix subscription (sorry NL, it’s not you, it’s your price) - Created a fresh Malaysian account (RM pricing = happy wallet) - Used the "Transfer Profile" option – 2 clicks and BOOM 💥 everything was there (Watch history, preferences, even the shameful reality shows I pretend I never watched)
🧠 Tech tip: Netflix got the UX right here. No weird workarounds, no VPN circus. Just clean, easy switching.
And yes, I’m still watching sci-fi at 2am like a true developer.
