Sometimes regulations feel like the cookie consent law.
Annoying, costly, and with zero ROI.
Here’s the trap I see often: - HR waves the red flag - Finance brings in a law firm - Everyone says “we must comply or else…”
But wait. - What’s the fine? - What’s the actual chance of getting fined? - And most importantly: is fixing it commercially worth it?
Getting advice is smart. Blindly following it is expensive.
At the end of the day, the decision isn’t legal. It’s commercial. It’s yours.
