Stripe Statement Descriptor

by Mar 24, 2023

Do you use Stripe and their Customer Portal? Do you want to make it easier for your customers?

💡Tip: Set the bank statement descriptor to a link to your Stripe Customer Portal.

I use ‘automatevalue.com/bill’ as my statement descriptor. This will be shown on your customer bank statement.

Then I redirected this link to the Stripe Customer Portal. This makes it extremely easy for my customers to go directly to the portal and see why they are charged.

This cuts down on chargebacks and support as your customers can easily cancel their subscriptions and download their invoices.
