Microsoft is going to block unmanaged solutions in Production 🚫

I hear this argument a lot when debating unmanaged vs managed πŸ”„

That MS will do this in the next couple of years.

I’ve heard this for years and it still has not happened πŸ•“

But what would be the benefit for MS❓

The power of Power Apps is in how easy it is to customizeπŸ’‘

By blocking unmanaged, MS is adding a hurdle 🚧 that would give a lot of friction to newcomers.

Also, think about all the support tickets 🎫 that this would cause.

But even when MS takes this step, it is very easy to switch to this new default.

Just convert your unmanaged solutions to managed and your good to goπŸ‘

Budgets instead of Estimates
