Stop naming your publisher after your company.

Stop naming your publisher after your company.

Your customer owns the environment. Your customer owns the solution.

Yet I still see this everytime: – Publisher: BigFancyConsultingLtd – Environment: the customer’s

No. Just no.

If you’re an ISV, use your own publisher. No problem there.

If you’re an implementation partner use the customer’s name as publisher.

Why? I don’t want to see proof of an implementation partner from 5 years ago in a customer environement.

Your company name doesn’t belong on their Dataverse. You already put it on the invoice, that’s enough. 😄

p.s. It also prevents future consultants from cursing your company’s name at 3 AM.
