Ditching ActiveCampaign!

I remember the thrill of signing up for ActiveCampaign, dreaming of revolutionizing my email marketing. But today, my story takes a turn. I’m saying goodbye to ActiveCampaign, and here’s why:

🚫 Clunky Interface: Feels like navigating through molasses. An outdated and cumbersome experience.

🚫 Feed Automation Fail: Autopost from RSS feed is a mess. Works in Automation but not in Campaigns, and even then, it’s a struggle. It couldn’t even understand my default WordPress feed.

🚫 Blocked Features: Want to use an interesting feature? Be prepared to upgrade. They have at least four plans, each more expensive than the last.

🚫 Price Hike: Already pricey, but my renewal? Even higher. The value just doesn’t add up.

Switching tools isn’t just about money or a sleek interface. It’s about efficiency and effectiveness.

It’s about finding solutions that truly work and not settling for ‘good enough’ when ‘great’ is out there.

To all my fellow IT managers and marketers, don’t hesitate to make a change if something isn’t working for you.

Sometimes, the best decision is to move on to something better.

Have you ever had to make a tough decision to switch tools? What was your experience like?

Budgets instead of Estimates

Budgets instead of Estimates Estimating a feature is difficult and is often a guess (or even a lie). An Estimate is for a fixed scope. So, you need to think deeply how to implement the feature, before giving an Estimate. The business can then use the Estimate to...
