Double opt-in

by Mar 27, 2023

I see a lot of double opt-ins for newsletter sign ups.

I think it is a mistake. Why?

❌ 30% of new subscribers never confirm

❌ It’s not required for GDPR (AVG)

If you’re afraid of collecting useless email addresses, you could do:

✅ single opt-in & unsubscribe them if there is no engagement in 15 days

Are you using other reasons to do a double-opt in? Please let me know!
