Power Pages to expensive for Marketing

by Nov 22, 2022

I thought the marketing space would be the growth area for Power Pages.

Often companies start looking for a product when they need a:

  • landing page, often with some sign-up registration
  • allow contacts to edit their profile and newsletter subscriptions

Power Pages would be the perfect answer if they are already on the Power Platform.

Data would be saved directly on the Contact or Lead table. No more syncing would be needed!

But with the current pricing I don’t see it happening. As a solution it is too expensive solution in the current marketplace.

Other products in this area, like HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, ConvertKit, MailChimp and Spotler are probably a better fit. They are cheaper and/or offer additional features for doing email marketing.

It seems to be that this is not the audience target for Microsoft, which I regret. There is a lot of potential here to grow Power Pages, if the pricing is right.

What do you think?
