Stand-up meetings? A waste of time!

Just to tell the PO what you did, are doing and are blocked by. Aren’t there better ways?

When communication in the team is good, teammates seek each other out in case of problems, then the daily stand-up is not useful anymore.

If the communication is bad, having stand-up gets you some information, but it isn’t fixing the base problem.

Finding time where everyone is available, especially with remote people, becomes a hassle. Wasteful energy spend that could be used for creating.

A better solution would be to just post a daily update in the team’s chat or channel. Fully async! Maybe even have a seperate Daily channel.

Use async chat to inform and 1-to-1 calls to discuss and help each other!
